The vacation rental:
Our 19th Century farmhouse has been renovated to a high standard having made every effort to retain many of the original features, while incorporating modern amenities. We have created a warm, homely atmosphere for your stay. You can soak up the sun, snooze in the shade or enjoy a bottle of wine from our select collection on the terrace. Malcolm and Edward, your hosts, will endeavour to help you make the most of your stay in their home.
Appleton's is situated on 2 acres of beautifully landscaped countryside with a variety of trees, shrubs and lovely flowering borders. We welcome you to take a stroll through the property including our fruit and vegetable gardens, which provide a bountiful harvest throughout the year for guests and ourselves. Our free-range chickens and ducks are quite entertaining and you are most welcome to help us gather eggs for your breakfast!
Dining is a relaxing experience served alfresco under the garden pergola, weather permitting. Evening meals often include organic meats from a neighbouring farm www.le-bois.biz and fresh, seasonal produce from our garden. All meals are freshly prepared and we can accommodate any special dietary needs and vegetarian meals. Breakfast is a sumptuous offering of our free-range eggs cooked to order, tomatoes and mushrooms along with an assortment of cereals, yoghurts, toast and a selection of homemade jams and marmalade. Your choice of beverage includes fruit juice, unlimited tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
Our 4-legged family members, Gobbi the cat and Leo the Labrador dog, are very friendly and always eager to greet new friends! Our pet-friendly rooms are located on the ground floor for easy access. Please let us know in advance if you wish to bring your well-behaved pet and we shall gladly welcome them.
Appleton's is a warm and biker friendly bed & breakfast perfectly situated in the Centre region of France, simply reached by all modes of transport. Our location provides a perfect setting of peace and tranquillity, yet is easily accessible from the motorway, making Appleton's ideal for a weeks holiday or as a stopping point for travellers heading to the South of France and the Mediterranean. We are 6 hours from Calais and just 10 minutes from the A20, exit 17

The hamlet of Bonnilly is the first you will come too, we are the 3rd road on the right, there is a derelict house on the corner and the road is very small, we are at the end on the road with the cattle gate.
