If you are planning to make a lot of excursions. It's recommended to rent a car. Although, there is a bus-stop before our home, but there is only 3 times a day a bus to North and South Evia. During the high season there are excursions to Athens, Delphi, Cape Sounion and Kimi by bus. And to the islands Mykonos, Tinos and Andros by hovercraft or ferryboat from Rafina. From Kimi (55 km)you can vissit the islands Skyros, Alonysos and Skiatos by ferryboat. Two beaches are within reach. The beach of the AGEAN SEA (2,5 km on foot, 15km by car,sandy beach with rough water) and the NOTIOS EVOIKOS KOLPOS (5km, gravel and sandy beach, calm water)in Nea Styra.
